Bars and Restaurants in The Marbella area are reporting customer levels back to pre pandemic levels with most of the popular beachfront Restaurants fully booked. One noticeable difference though is that there are fewer UK visitors due mainly to the confusion surrounding travel requirements from UK into the EU and different member states operating different rules. According to a popular Marbella restaurant though customers are much more conscious of the amount they are spending and the popular way of Spanish guests, to share starters and main courses is becoming more widespread which in turn is leading to a lower head spend. It is also noticeable that Restaurants have raised prices this year by as much as 20 per cent commented a group of visitors from Germany.
