It is a nature park unique in Europe where animals of the five continents coexist in semiwild conditions. The park is divided into several zones, each of which features a variety of different animals. The first remarkable area which you will encounter is the lagoon which is populated by exotic birds, including some colorful flamingos. Nearby are habitats suitable for birds and monkeys. One of the park's most striking man-made features is the bird canyon, a massive enclosed area of hills and plants, within which numerous different species of birds live freely. You will learn about species like Eagle Owl, the Steppe Eagle and the Condor. Get a close-up look at the biggest mammals: elephants, giraffes, Bengal tigers, lions, bison and zebras... And take part in exciting adventure: slide on a flying fox over a huge Africa lake, rede adromedary, follow the overhead walkway route, test your skill at archery or have fun on the 'Aguada'. A great part of the circuit is made in all-terrain trucks, although there is lots to see on foot, so I recommend you to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Also there is limited shade so summer visitors should remember to bring along a hat and sun cream. The Park has restaurants, shops, parking and much more services and facilities.

Called by National Geographic Magazine " one of the most modern in Spain and one of the best  in Europe", leave behind the concept of house of wild animals in order to show the real animal world. The exhaustive representation of the habitats of the tropical forest makes the park  a unique place in all of Europe. Its extraordinary recreation of this ecosystem, where the vegetation and water features are a constant theme, will carry the visitors to places as remote as Madagascar, Equatorial Africa and Southeast Asia. Conservation, research and education are the pillars that support the Bio Park. Numerous species and many individuals live in this deep jungle in the middle of Fuengirola city. Its high-quality facilities and the technical expertise of its staff allow the park to collaborate on a variety of international and European conservation and captive breeding programs for endangered species and make us members in good standing of the Association of European Zoos and Aquariums and of the Spanish Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Forest Clearing Exhibition  has recreated a jungle clearing and pretends to give a closer look at some of its inhabitants. In the Forest Clearing you can see birds and small mammals of the tropical forests and observe how they behave in an environment, similar to its natural habitat and learn a little more about some strange animals. Schedule: - From 10 o'clock in the morning all year round. July and August until midnght.
